Hebrew Priestess Havdallah

Celebrate the turning from Shabbat into the new week by cultivating depth, devotion and divine play.  Join Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute co-founder Taya Shere for an evening of embodied, ecstatic chant and percussive Havdalah prayer in feminized Hebrew, inviting English and songs of the heart.  All are welcome.

Taya Mâ (Taya Shere) plays passionately in the realm of transformative ritual and embodied vocalization.  She is co-author of The Hebrew Priestess: Ancient and New Visions of Jewish Women’s Spiritual Leadership and Siddur HaKohanot: A Hebrew Priestess Prayerbook, and co- author of The Hebrew Priestess: Ancient and New Visions of Jewish Women’s Spiritual Leadership and Siddur HaKohanot: A Hebrew Priestess Prayerbook, and co-founded Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute with Rabbi Jill Hammer. Taya‘s chant CD’s Wild Earth Shebrew, Halleluyah All Night, Torah Tantrika and This Bliss have been heralded as “cutting-edge mystic medicine music.”  Taya leads online courses in Ancestral Lineage Repair, and is a practitioner of trauma-healing modality Somatic Experiencing.
