We’re sorry, registration is now closed due to full registration.
Or Shalom is proud to host an afternoon with Rabbi Jeff Roth, the founder and director of The Awakened Heart Project for Contemplative Judaism. He offers a contemporary approach to Jewish meditation, focusing on the practice of mindfulness, combined with the teachings of Torah. This path can liberate us from alienation, awaken us to the truth of the present moment and open us to a sense of the Divine Presence.
The afternoon will begin with mindfulness meditation, led by Rabbi Roth and follow with teachings from his new book, Me, Myself and God: a Theology of Mindfulness. There will be an opportunity for questions. This event is appropriate for both beginning and experienced meditators.
The program will conclude with a pot luck vegetarian meal so we can get to know one another.
All are welcome to this free event, although space is limited. Please pre-register below.
