“Miriam in the Desert” explores the lesser known story of what happens to Miriam when she is exiled for criticizing her brother Moses.
Can this biblical tale of exile and exclusion speak to us today?
Join Rabbi Hannah Dresner in studying Miriam through biblical text, midrash, song, and art historical images.
Each session will allow time for creating our own midrash to add to the canon.
When: Tuesdays, March 28 and April 4, 7-9pm
Where: Or Shalom, 710 E 10th Ave.
Registration required. Only 35 seats available, so please register below.
