Torah Study

Two Torah study gatherings happen within the Or Shalom community.

Women’s Torah Study

We extend an opportunity for women (both trans and cis) to meaningfully connect through Torah, weaving resonant themes and insights into the tapestry of our daily lives. No prior experience of Torah study or Hebrew is necessary and dropping in is welcome.

Our sharing will be all the richer if participants are able to read the parasha before coming.

Please bring a notebook and writing or drawing implement and your preferred translation of the Chumash. (Chumashim are also available in our sanctuary.)

We look forward to your participation in crafting our learning; we meet every two weeks on Thursdays. To see when the next study session is, see our calendar.

Dael and Rabbi Hannah

Men’s Torah Study

Every two weeks, an informal discussion of the week’s parasha for male-identifying folks takes place from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. (every second Friday).

Please check out our calendar to find out which weeks it is happening.

Traditionally held at the Grind Café on Main Street, the group has relocated to Caffè Artigiano on Main Street at 24th Avenue.
