What an amazing day. With great weather, the men assembled together, finding the right posts and beams and washers and bolts to construct the sukkah. In the afternoon, families came to bring their ingredients for stone soup, create an edible sukkah with icing and graham crackers, and we had a processional march to the newly decorated sukkah led by the simchat torah band.
After supper and dessert, Chanting and Chocolate lifted the bayit to another level, and outside the eclipse of the moon reminded of the importance of sukkot – to never cease to be amazed by the beauty and wonder of nature, and the delight of children playing.
