Be a part of the High Holidays at Or Shalom

Vancouver’s East-Side Shul invites you to join us for the High Holidays

Or Shalom is delighted to welcome our members and the community at large to join us for services and programs through the month of Elul to Yom Kippur. For 2021, we have in-person options as well as zoom and livestream offerings.

We’ll kick things off on Selichot, August 28, with a special evening of writing, reading and music. Join us in-person (RSVP required) at the Or Shalom Bayit, or view from home via the YouTube livestream.

Throughout Rosh Hashanah we’ll be at Or Shalom and for Yom Kippur, we’ll return to the JCC. On Erev Rosh Hashanah, be sure to bring in the new year with Rabbi Hannah as she unfolds the nusach – a video will be available on our homepage after 5 p.m. on Sept. 6. For all other services, you can view the livestreams via YouTube, or attend in person.

Visit our High Holidays calendar for details on all our offerings, including preparing for the Days of Awe, Rosh Hashanah services, Tashlich and Shofar, and Yom Kippur. Please note, registration is required for all in-person services and programs as well as some of our online classes. Find out how and access all livestream links by reviewing our schedule of events.

Join us for Tashlich at the canoe bridge on False Creek.
