Community Survey Now Open for Your Feedback

In the fall of 2013, Or Shalom began the process of looking for a new rabbi after Rabbi Laura Duhan Kaplan submitted her resignation letter to the board. During this time of transition, we turn to the Or Shalom community to provide feedback to help direct our search for our new permanent Rabbi, as well as help Or Shalom plan for the short and long term.

The Or Shalom 2014 Rabbi Search and Visioning Survey has been created to help us gather information about what our community wants, needs and should prioritize. This survey is completely anonymous and the more honest your responses are, the better we’ll be equipped to meet the needs of Or Shalom members and affiliates.

The survey can be completed online through Survey Monkey:

Alternatively, printed copies will be available at Or Shalom that can be filled out and returned to the office in a sealed envelope.

Any member of the Or Shalom community may complete this survey, regardless of their membership status. All family members (b’nei mitzvah age or older) should fill out their own survey individually, although we recognize that some families may choose to complete it collectively.

Survey will be open for three weeks, and close Friday April 11th, the shabbat before Pesach. Thank you so much for taking the time to fill out the survey. Your input it truly invaluable.
