Bright Lights

Bright Lights has two cohorts,  Alef and Bet!

With Sarah Bercu.

Alef is for children 6-8 and Bet is for children 9-11.  Class will now be every Thursday, 4-5:30 pm, with Alef and Bet alternating weeks.

Each year of this program will contain unique blends of stories from Tanakh and Jewish history, Hebrew language study, and learning about holidays and Jewish values and practices.

Classes will combine accessible text study, music, videos, fun activities, and the exploration of Judaism’s toolbox for thinking and flourishing as human beings.

Introducing Bright Lights Teacher | Sarah Bercu

Sarah is the teacher for the Bright Lights program. She combines her artistic creativity and design background with her love of Jewish culture and tradition. Sarah is conversationally fluent in Hebrew, and believes that the best way to engage children in learning new languages is to make it fun, exciting, and memorable

When she isn’t planning lessons for our youth, Sarah enjoys hiking, travelling and smelling the roses along the way (both literally and figuratively).
