Rabbi Hannah hasn’t officially started with Or Shalom yet (July 1) but with a bit of help has applied for and received a fellowship to participate the Rabbis Without Borders Clergy Leadership Incubator (CLI).
Visionary Leadership and Innovative Practice
The Clergy Leadership Incubator (CLI) is a two-year program to support and encourage early-career rabbis (years 2-10) in organizational leadership, change management and institutional transformation. The program is open to rabbis serving congregations or rabbis who have created or are in the process of creating new models of spiritual community.
You’re probably familiar with Rabbis Without Borders from Reb Laura’s participation over the years. Their mission statement:
Rabbis Without Borders envisions a world where Jewish wisdom is a source for wellbeing for anyone anywhere. We, the rabbis in the RWB Network, are committed to pushing the borders of what it means to be a rabbi today. We seek to share our Torah in pluralistic, innovative ways grounded by a sense of service to all.
We can be very proud of Or Shalom and of Rabbi Hannah for being the recipients of this fellowship. Hannah’s participation with mentors and other rabbis facing similar challenges will benefit us greatly as we take Or Shalom to the next level.
