Join Rabbi Hannah and musical guests for this adult-oriented evening that is sure to settle you into the Shabbat mood. Take this opportunity to wind down the week and settle into the island in time that is Shabbat – a mix of joyful welcoming and restful introspection.

Kabbalat Shabbat service begins at 7 p.m. and will be led by Rabbi Hannah featuring Charles Kaplan, Martin Gotfrit and Noah Gotfrit. Followed by a relaxing vegetarian potluck dinner between spiritual friends at 8 p.m. Everyone welcome at no cost.

Shabbat Soul New Members Dinner and Jazz Service

The membership committee and Rabbi Hannah are planning a very special Friday night dinner and jazz Kabbalat Shabbat service at which they will officially welcome members who have joined the Or Shalom community in the last year.

Schedule for the Evening:

5:30-7 p.m. — A festive Shabbat dinner (planned and provided by our long-standing members!)
6:30-7 p.m. — Candle Lighting for Children
7:15-8:15 p.m. — A jazz-centric Kabbalat Shabbat service with Rabbi Hannah, Noah Gotfrit, and friends
8:15 p.m. onward — Dessert served
