10 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Shabbat morning service with interactive Torah experience led by Reb Irwin Keller featuring Or Shalom actors (appropriate for middle school through adult kahal)
12:15 p.m. Vegetarian potluck lunch
1:15-2:15 p.m. Dream a Little Dream. Reb Irwin’s tisch on the exploration of our dreams and how our Jewish texts understand them
Background:
Reb Irwin is the spiritual leader of Congregation Ner Shalom in Sonoma County, CA since 2008. His past work included LGBT advocacy and HIV legal services. Reb Irwin is a founder of the Taproot Gathering for Jewish activists and is a certified Storahtelling maven. His sermons and essays can be found on his blog, Itzik’s Well, found at irwinkeller.com.
