Shana Tova from Vancouver’s East-Side Shul

As the new year approaches, we’re busy putting the final touches on our services and events so your observance of this special time is warm and contemplative. We will have several ways for you to connect to the Days of Awe, including Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services at the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver. Download the brochure to view the full High Holidays schedule.

We are pleased to offer programming for kids and teens, ages 3 and up, throughout Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. View the schedule and RSVP so our staff can plan accordingly.

Below you’ll find a few highlights of our gatherings. What are you looking forward to this holiday season?

High Holidays 5780 Highlights

Before you head off to Rosh Hashanah dinner plans you may have with friends and family, join Rabbi Hannah for a sweet Kabbalat Chag service in our Bayit in East Vancouver to start off the 5780 High Holy Days.

No RSVP required. We’ll see you at Queen Elizabeth Park.

Created in collaboration with guest composer Leah Abramson. Five community members offer five prayers of supplication, answering, what do you call into being for yourself? for humanity? for the earth? This is the opening program for the next season of Koreh.

We wish you all a Shana Tova U’Metuka.
