Volunteers are the lifeblood of Or Shalom, and one of the things that keeps us a vibrant and engaged community.
Volunteers teach classes, davven (lead prayers), leyn (sing weekly Torah sections), cook, clean up, facilitate, serve on committees and the board, and many other tasks. We find that volunteering brings us closer to the community, and invests ourselves in Or Shalom.
If you have skills, time, or interest, but may not know exactly how you can contribute given your time and skills, contact our program coordinator at programs@orshalom.ca
Greetings, I have offered to work in the office, file, that kind of thing. I’m also willing to help at times with cooking, bringing things to people, etc.
