Announcing a week of Simchat Torah programming online
From Sept. 27 to 30, we will have a four-day lunchtime learning led by Matthew Gindin in which we will explore a range of answers to the question, “What is the Torah?”
On Erev Simchat Torah, Sept. 28, we will have a program called “Releasing Control, Receiving Blessings” where we will read from the final and the first parshas of the Chumash to unveil a timely teaching about control, chaos, creation and the unfolding of blessing. We will also celebrate the rewinding of the Torah scroll to danceable music and rejoice in the core of the Jewish tradition, our ever-new Torah. Our Simchat Torah celebration will follow Yizkor.
